atipikaJAPAN has two main sections: Island Project and Portfolio
What are you presenting for each section?
Works for both of those sections.
What inspired the work you present?
The work for Island project, that is made original for the project came from my own interpretation of the word "Island".
For portfolio section, I selected from my past works that matches the theme "Island".
What technique, medium, software, etc did you use?
No special technique that I can be proud of!
Just Mac, Illustrator, paints & canvases.
Please tell us about you:
SUNDAY-VISION is a solo-unit of Shinsuke Koshio, works mainly on graphic design, Motion Graphics, Web design and apparel design.
Apart from working with clients, SUNDAY-VISION designs and publishes its works in many occations.
Switch Stance is another label for apparel design by SUNDAY-VISION,
collaborates with companies, brands and projects.
Who do you normally work for? corporate clients, artists, music...?
I work for corporates, artists and music labels.
I work for magazines as well.
Where do you seek inspiration?
I know it is too expected answers, but my inspiration come from
everything around me..
Sometimes it comes from chatting with my friends.
What are your preferred medium: computer design, hand made illustration, moving image...?
As my final output is always from the computer, mostly I work on the computer. In the very begining period of the work, when I create raw materials for each work, I work with a lot of analog methods.
It is all common even if the work is graphic, web design or motion graphics.
Is there any current project you want to tell us about?
I'm working on my first book.
Do normally SUNDAY-VISION spend time and resources in non-profit or artistic projects? if yes: why?
I spend a lot of time for non-profit projects.
Sometimes I come up with an great idea, and the idea is usually not suitable for what I'm working for at the moment.
I usually present those works on my exhibitions..
